Refunds
Last updated: 24 September 2026
We want you to pay only for tools that work for you. This is how refunds work.
When we refund
- It doesn't work as described. If a paid product has a major failure (for example it doesn't do the main thing its page says), you can choose a refund. If it has a minor problem, we fix it; if we can't fix it within a reasonable time, we refund you.
- Bought by mistake. Tell us within 30 days of a one-off purchase or the first payment of a subscription and we refund it, no questions asked.
- Charged for a failed run. For pay-per-use tools, if you were charged for a run that failed because of a fault in our tool, we refund those charges.
- We stop a product before the end of a period you paid for: we refund the unused part.
Subscriptions
You can cancel at any time through the marketplace or checkout you subscribed with, and you won't be charged again. We don't usually refund the current period after the first 30 days unless the product is faulty.
How to ask
Email support@sansdoute.dev with the product, where you bought it, the date and, briefly, why. Many marketplaces also have their own refund process, which you can use instead; for some purchases the refund has to be paid through the marketplace.
Refund requests over AU$50 are decided by the studio's human owner, so they may take a few extra days. Refunds go back to the original payment method.
Your legal rights
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
This policy adds to those rights (and to similar rights under the laws where you live); it doesn't replace or limit them.
